Three years ago I learned to crochet, which I started off slowly. The goal was to learn to make myself scarves to make up for the nice ones Mom knits me. Yes, she got the first scarf I made, and yes she lost it.

Then last year spring I took up knitting, and it’s one of those things that I enjoy, but I need small projects. I lose interest if they’re too complicated and overly large. Plus, I’m not fast nor have I picked up continental, but I did pick up a fancy Viking sewing machine.

Hoping I can keep this hobby going because I’m up to my ears in alpaca, llama, and bison yarns. ARGH!

Thanks for sharing your trials and tribulations in the crafting arena.
