Add some Refinement to your Teacup with Dior Maison Tea
Dreaming of an elegant tea outing at home? Now the French couture house Dior launched Dior Maison with loose leaf teas inspired by the courtier Christian Dior’s garden in Granville, France. Each neutral grey tin adds a dose of chic to every kitchen cabinet with sizes ranging from 50g-70g or 1.7oz-2.4oz. The beautifully dried leaves transport your taste buds to delightful days of French tea salon outings at home. So far Dior Maison has launched three flavors:

Colle Noir, a black tea containing vanilla, mallow flowers, and a bourbon vanilla flavor, before steeping it smells earthy and sweet. Your teacup instantly tastes like a deep vanilla tea latte with a little bit of milk or cream.
Montaigne, a delicate, low caffeinated white tea for a smooth taste. This white tea has notes of jasmine, green tea, and rosebuds for a hint of a floral taste. To amplify the softness of this tea, transform it into an iced tea by refrigerating a glass and adding some raw sugar, honey, orange, or lemon.
Bonne Etoile, a grassy and light green tea, its ingredients include lemon and thyme guarantying you a fresh taste to your cup. The high dose of caffeine and zesty taste gives you the energy and refreshment for a good start to your morning.
At first glance, Dior’s price ranges are as high as their luxurious beauty, accessories, and clothing lines, but the quality of the aroma and taste guarantees more affordability than coffee shops like Starbucks. The taste of loose tea tin from France costs between $40-$60 upfront while an everyday $3 tea run at Starbucks on average adds up to $90 after one month. Whereas you only need one tablespoon of tea leaves for every tea usage. You get many more fabulous tea dates because each tea tin lasts two years after the purchase date.

Dior Maison’s teas are aspirational for the best sip of tea to make us feel graceful inside and outside. Dior Maison inspired me to create an entire tea time tray filled with homemade chocolate scones, macaroons, and more to accompany my first taste test of Colle Noir. Who knew that a cup of tea could be a new step to a lifestyle of refinement?
