He Will Always Be Your Strength

Psalms 46:1–3 “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.”

What a beautiful picture this brings to my mind. It’s as if God Himself is leaning over to me saying, “ don’t worry, I am your strength and I will help you no matter what the circumstance.”

What a wonderful Father we have. Always willing, always ready, always choosing to be our strength and refuge. He chooses to be your strength! He chooses to be a refuge you can run to! And when you run to Him, He chooses to take your fear and replace it with perfect peace.

I honestly don’t know what I would do without my Father intervening and being my strength and refuge. I am so weak. I can’t battle on my own, I can’t run this race on my own. I grow tired and weary. But He never does! And when I lean into Him, He will lead me on His paths. And you can do the same today.

Remember Your Father. He chooses you. He chooses to be your strength. He chooses to be your refuge. He chooses to fight your battles. He chooses to give you peace. He chooses to take your fear and anxiety. He chooses to be your friend.
