McGregor vs. Mayweather
Tonight is the “match of century” and I would like to express a couple of ideas since there is a hype around this match and will probably be the most watched kombat match in history.
We all seen how it’s becoming more and more sports entertainment (wrestling). It produces insane money, like every other thing in the entertainment industry. Let’s remember what happened to Michael Jackson. Pretty soon some of these athletes will start to fall.
Also the language, way more explicit than Wrestling — here I would like to state that wrestlers to this better and also is proof that you can have a Billion $ industry without explicit language or nudity.
The funny thing that I noticed was how all of a sudden, we are all specialists in fighting and how thoroughly we pre-analyse the match:

“Mayweather is the undisputed boxing champion of the world” (and probably the greatest boxer in history so far — but do you remember any memorable match of him?) and it is a boxing match so McGregor doesn’t stand a chance, especially since he’s not used to more than 3 rounds. But Connor — notice how we call him by his name like we grew up with him in the same neighborhood or something — has the advantage of the youth — 12 years younger than Floyd who is 40 and the fatigue may have a word in this.
Just open up your newsfeed today and you’ll see more comments that you ever think of, and how all sounds so “experienced”.
But there’s a good side in this to:
The increasing popularity of MMA and combat sports in general. Healthy wise is a good thing, because some people, such as myself, prefer a class of combat sport instead of going to the gym. It’s discipline and works more than your body. I am a MMA practitioner myself (as much as my time allows it) and I’ve trained with a couple of Masters (not so manny).

At one point, one of them had us meditate after the class for 3 minutes, in trying to visualize the whole course from the beginning to the end, to go through our minds all the kicks and punches and the technique we used. Since then, I try to apply this in everything I do (study something, watching a movie, writing an article etc) and I recommend this exercise. Just take a minute or two after a task is complete and go through it, visualising all the steps, where you deed good and where you didn’t do that good. It will improve you performance.
More people know how to fight today than ever. You won’t expect how good a person can be at fighting and it would be good that every person should have a combat sport to practice. Takes a lot of the pressure and it’s the free punches that you take that teaches you not to take so many things for granted. I strongly believe I became a better person since I’ve started MMA and if I pause more than three months between sessions I can see it in my outcomes (results in working, family etc).
Also this fight will do good for the industry. I’m sure a lot of kid will pursue their parents to enroll them in a class, to buy them gloves and gear. It will be a good period to be in the business.
Enjoy the fight and get motivated by it.
