I think we are living through an era where we demonize technology and we idolize old and true things, because people hate change. — Gary Vaynerchuk

Communication is vaguely defined as the exchange of information. However, what happens when you send information but don’t receive information back? That’s right, communication turns defective.

If a message has been sent or a phone call has been made, how does one know if the other person has heard and understood if they didn’t answer?

I’m a Millennial and I believe in changeability and in the power of speed. I also own one of the most powerful computers on this planet, a smartphone. I use my smartphone to contact people and companies and to be contacted by them. The power to decide if I want to or not to answer a call or reply to a message is under my control, but not entirely — unless I decide to avoid any communication with the universe and die.

Communication is the consideration and action of impelling an impulse or particle from source-point across a distance to receipt-point, with the intention of bringing into being at the receipt-point a duplication and understanding of that which emanated from the source-point. —LRH

Is digital communication different from personal communication? No. The communication formula is the same no matter the means.

Expert in communication, Lafayette Ronald Hubbard describes the communication formula as: “cause, distance, effect, with intention, attention and duplication with understanding.”

The solution to the digital communication lag is the same as in face-to-face communication, persistance. Nobody has the same ability to listen and not every piece of technology is perfect. You have to strengthen your ability to send a message with enough intention so you can have the attention of who you want to contact, make that person aware of your message and receive an answer. After all, you are sending a particle of you to that person’s mind. This is not some kind of mojo with your phone, this is something obvious and functional.

No matter the method you use to communicate a message, if the recipient doesn’t answer persist until he does. The same apply to your customers and your audience. 💡🔁💡
