90-Day Challenge Week 7
I’m pleased to report that I made LOTS of progress this week with my 90-Day Challenge. Here’s what I achieved:
I completed another 7 lessons of my Social Media Marketing course.
I’ve gone full steam ahead with my social media marketing course. This week came up with a free gift idea for my website. I haven’t decided if it’s going to be an ebook or just a report yet, but I started creating a gift for business owners that will help them come up with blog post ideas for their website. I learned about squeeze pages — this one was kind of big for me because I always thought that the squeeze page was just the pop-ups that come up on a lot of websites asking people to sign up for their lists. I learned that it does much more though — it provides information on the benefits of the free gift the customer (or potential customer) will receive when they sign up for my email list. I’ve started working on creating a squeeze page for the free gift idea I came up with last week (which I’m still working on). I also learned about thank you and download pages, and affiliate marketing products. I created thank you and download pages for my website, and have looked at affiliate marketing products a little bit, though I’m not sure if I’m going to offer them to my clients since my business focuses more around a service than a product.
I applied to a writing job and got a response.
I’m just waiting to find out the next steps.
I wrote two articles on Wordgigs and made $9.
It’s not much, but it’s something. And hopefully if I get this job that I applied for on problogger.com I can start adding to that.
That’s the progress I made this week — I’m kind of impressed with myself. I’m hoping to find out more about this job I applied for, and this week I’ll also make more progress on my social media marketing course.
