Philip, I think you covered a number of important attributes. I would add a couple of other thoughts: 1) I see Breadth and Depth sometimes described as the ability to Zoom In and Zoom Out; 2) adjacent to Selective Reality is Selective Blindness: The paradoxical ability to simultaneously ignore and respect the overwhelming odds from competitive and market forces standing between the current state and the future vision (and navigate those states); 3) Emotional Intelligence, which is finally getting real attention. I have been looking at this as a predictor of team/co-founder success. Team dynamics are often opaque to an investor (pre-investment that is). 4) I think science fiction is a proxy for imagination. But I really like the idea of just keeping it labeled as science fiction :)
