My second birth was especially amazing as I actually slept through it, between contractions, then was woken up by the pushing my body was doing “without my help.” And that went on for about 20 minutes. I guess I really should write about this in hopes of encouraging young women… all women — even those who are my age(54) who may be able to encourage their daughters. I tell people this birth was painful in it’s way, but I suffered not at all.
