Alternately you are a priest and these things you post are devotionals. I believe you consider yourself an instrument. Don’t doubt it.

In contrast, there is a popular “someone else” who calls her audio messages sermons. Her intent is honorable; her words are true, and actually, her contributions are of great value. Yet I feel cringey when I listen to her…therefore cringey about her talks being called sermons. What it boils down to, I’m quite sure, is Ego.

The hallmark of your work, as I see it, is your attention to this matter of Ego — your warrior dedication to rising above, or at least maneuvering around it. Wouldn’t you say it’s your “brand”(paradoxically speaking)? I’m sure it’s one of the reasons you admirably struggle with what to call yourself (uh…I kinda just know this?)

I wrote a little something awhile back that came to mind upon reading your post. Somehow it brings me peace…if I do say so myself. ;)
