On Monday people started noticing a brand-new feature on Twitter’s iOS app, that certain profiles were now displaying deep-linked prompts to open an app or to go to that app’s page in the App Store.

As we all know, people are using mobile apps in a big way, and using Twitter to drive downloads and native app usage is a fantastic idea. So how do you get in on it?

Simple: If you have the App Card enabled on your site (a bit of code on your pages that points directly to your iOS and Androd apps), the Twitter app will pick that up and display it on your mobile profile page.
