Thanks for sharing your experience dealing with these food hubs. It is so valuable to hear how different initiatives impact different players within the food system.

From what I’m understanding, the GreenMaven is an online platform for multiple farmers within a small geographic region. I’m wondering what the user experience is in finding what they’re looking for (for example, if someone wanted to purchase onions, would all the listings for onions from the different farms appear in a list or would you go to each farm shopping page separately)? Additionally, how are farmers differentiating themselves on the platform, especially newcomers once the platform is established? Last question, does the fact that GreenMaven doesn’t provide any infrastructure means that farmers are responsible for all of the deliveries?

Having tried to set up an online platform for a group of us farmers to sell to restaurants a couple years back, we faced some of the challenges I’ve listed above. I’m curious how you have decided to navigate these.
