Benzobuddies.com has misinformed you regarding the Ashton schuedle. She uses Diazepam to taper off Xanax (First she uses both Xanax and Diazepam). Please look at benzo.org.uk. Then hit: “Chapter II: Slow withdrawal schuedles”. Personally I have never used the Ashton model. Just read about it.
What is missing from her schuedle is how to taper out Rohypnol/Flunitrazepam. Rohypnol, Xanax and Klonopin are the most popular Benzos in Norway. But Xanax and Rohypnol are more difficult to get on presciption now.
In 2002 the politicans issued a new law making Rohypnol the hardest Benzo to prescribe in Norway. In Oslo (in 2002) the price on the black market the price for Rohypnols by decreased 37,5%. The criminal gangs really enjoyed it. Made a lot more money because they sold a lot more Rohypnols. Sometimes the politicans should think twice before they issue new laws.
In Norway the males and females use about the same amount of Benzos. Maybe really old women uses a bit more Benzos than their male counterparts.
