Help Us Through

A poem of kindness

Reach a broken spirit
They may take some time
To remember
They can still be beautiful
And we’ll
Forgive their crimes

So, lend a hand
To those straggling behind
Everyday we each
Should be reminded
That we can still be kind

Offer your strength
To those weakened by fears
Make your actions worthy
And then your debts
Will be cleared

When people seek revenge
On innocents minds
Show them you also
Have a weapon
It’s called being kind

So, lend a hand
To those straggling behind
Everyday we each
Should be reminded
That we can still be
Kind
