Her leaves slip around me

Like a river flowing down my body.

Her limbs strong and graceful

Along my ever-changing person.

She wraps her branches thoughtfully

Around my steady torso, though not as

Steady as her wise being, far older

In mentality than I.

I seek her wonder and empowerment

Everywhere I go, though each time

I shall eventually reach back

To my beloved

Tree.
