This week in class I learned about Tom Freedman and his work around the world. The explanation of Freedman’s talk to MIT college was about the playing field being leveled. Harnessing your true talent in life and inventing things the world needs, is crutial to survival. The iron rule of business is: whatever can be done, will be done. Freedman goes into detail about how concepts that have been conceived will get moving just as soon as the entreprener realizes the worth of the idea.
On Tuesday in class we learned about the types of organizations that have to deal with climate change and what type of elements are being communicated. Demographics (the shift) of the U.S. population looking at percentages of new and old minorities such as; a higher % of Hispanics, lover % of households with married couples, more residents in urban areas, and a higher % of people age 65+ that our economy is currently dealing with.
