Though he was born in the city, he spent most of his childhood down south in Georgia and Florida.

Wo’s love for music started at an early age, and he and his brother used to freestyle over beats for fun. However, when Wo was going through a tough time, he turned to writing rhymes as a way to channel his frustrations. A colleague of his brother’s heard his rhymes and saw potential in him, which inspired Wo to pursue music seriously.

Wo’s music style is an alternative to the standard hip hop foundation, combining pop, rock, and rap. He draws inspiration from a wide range of artists, including Missy Elliot, Timberland, Eminem, Pharrell, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Uzi Vert, Bone Thugs and Harmony, and Lil Jon and the East Side Boys.

His most successful track to date is “Ready,” produced by ChiChi, with about 280k streams. The track is about being ready for anything life throws your way and taking action towards what you want to achieve. Wo believes that you are ready for opportunities the second they are presented to you because God won’t give you more than you can handle.

In 2023, Wo released his debut album “Wakanda Pangea” on all platforms, a 7-song body of work that brings high energy that many cannot match.

Overall, Wo is a versatile new age rap artist who is making a name for himself in the industry. He believes that music is more than just a means to make money but rather a passion that he was put on this earth to pursue. Wo’s music sends a message of motivation and perseverance, encouraging his listeners to be ready to take on any challenge that comes their way.
