What I learned not drinking for two years

I didn’t drink that much-just one drink a day-but I had that one drink pretty religiously. I’ve been not-drinking for a few months now and I’m so impressed by how much better I sleep, and how much better my stomach feels. I had come to think that having indigestion all night was normal!
Not drinking is also making me process stress more thoughtfully. If something is upsetting or stressful, I now have to think through it rather than just trying to turn it off. Leads to a much better, truer response to the real issues that inevitably come up.
