Monday Muse: Belated Inspiration Part 3
K. Musich

I had a professor once challenge us to write our own operating manual, something that we could give someone so they would understand how we operate. That way there’s no guessing. For instance, my operating manual would say “I ask a lot of questions. That doesn’t mean I don’t like your idea or am questioning your proposal, I just naturally ask a lot of questions. If I’m asking questions, it’s a sign of me being interested in what you’re saying versus being critical”. You could also encourage your team to write their own operating manual. Doesn’t have to be long. 1 or 2 pages will do the trick.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
