What is the highest realm of human existence? This profound question yields answers as varied as the individuals who contemplate it.

Some equate it with wealth, others with erudition, and still others with power. However, I believe these so-called “realms” are merely superficial manifestations of life.

True elevation of our being lies in our ability to confront the setbacks and obstacles that life inevitably presents. Running, in this regard, offers a uniquely profound and insightful path.

Firstly, running empowers us to “outrun our past.” We all carry a past, a tapestry woven with both joy and sorrow. The triumphs of success and the shadows of failure leave imprints on our souls. Running, like a magic key, unlocks the door to that past, allowing us to confront it head-on and release the pent-up emotions that have accumulated within. Each stride we take is a farewell to the past and an embrace of the future.

Secondly, running fosters a renewed understanding of ourselves. In the act of running, we constantly adjust our pace, seeking the rhythm that resonates most deeply with us.
