It started with the garage. Before my father’s hoarding became an undeniable and overbearing part of our lives, he started stuffing every corner of the garage with every type of junk he could get his hands on.

Garage sales, yard sales, and plain old regular sales were his weakness. Anything cheap or discounted enough would end up in the back…
