What apps/software/tools can’t you live without? Why?

  1. iMessage. I rely very heavily on my phone to send my messages when I want them to be sent and to whom I want them sent to. I think in this generation, a lot of people use text message over calling someone; I know I prefer a text over a call.
  2. Apple Music. I love music. Anything from Hip-Hop, Rap, Country, Pop, whatever is on, I can roll with!
  3. G-mail. Being a student, I would say I receive at least 10–15 emails a day. Whether it be from professors who are reminding students about assignments, to emails from advisors letting students know of upcoming events (i.e. job fairs, internship openings, club meetings, etc.).
  4. Word Document. I am huge on typing my notes. I usually will hand write them while in class (to better my memory) and then type them up to print them as a study aid.

What’s your best time-saving shortcut/life hack?

The best thing I have learned over my three years of college is to stay organized! I try to have a daily schedule of when things need to get done. This helps me balance my time well and stay on track with homework, upcoming quizzes, etc. My planner has become my best friend!

What everyday thing are you better at than everyone else? What’s your secret?

I have a great memory. I am very good at remembering not only a face, but a name as well. I think my secret to that would be always taking a fact from someone. Whether that be something small like where they are from, or something detailed like they are from the same town that your mom grew up in. I think it’s important to remember people because it makes them feel important and special.

What do you listen to while you work?

I usually listen to music I can dance to when I am doing homework. I think it’s important to stand up periodically and get the blood flowing! Dance music for some reason also helps me focus.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I have ever received is to never give up. Life can throw a lot of curve balls, but the sun will always shine tomorrow.

Where do you find inspiration and new ideas?

I think I find inspiration and new ideas in people. Although I am young, I have traveled to many places and seen many different sides of the world. I find new people inspiring; whether it be how they live, how they interact with people, their traditions. I think new ideas and inspiration is all around us everyday and all we need to do is look and learn from it. Experience is everything.

What’s your favorite quote?

In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on.
