Steel coils, also known as steel coils, are steel products that are hot-pressed or cold-pressed into coils, and can be divided into hot-rolled coils and cold-rolled coils. Hot-rolled coils are processed products before billet recrystallization, and cold-rolled coils are subsequent processing of hot-rolled coils, with a general weight of about 15–30 tons.

The steel plate is poured with molten steel, and pressed into a flat shape after cooling, and it can also be divided into hot rolling and cold rolling. Generally, the steel plate is rectangular, which can be rolled by diameter or cut from a wide steel strip. According to different thicknesses, it can be divided into thin steel plate<4㎜ (thinnest 0.2㎜), medium-thick steel plate 4–60㎜, and extra-thick steel plate 60- 115㎜.

Therefore, the connection and difference between steel coils and steel plates are self-evident, and the shapes of the two are essentially different, which also shows that the scope of application of the two is different.
