Thanks for this great article. I long studied knowledge theories and your article is a really good refresher.
I’m not sure about the use of the Damore’s example. What Damore doesn’t show is that Google uses a process and some level of transparency. In cities, citizens experience all the time the feelings to not having all the information, not to be listening and decisions applied. The lack of transparency is a better critic to show why information homogenization is bad for democracy. I’m feminist, so I think that democracy is hard but, is a good for every society. But I love process too, so societies no matter their wealth, should have capabilities to decide how to grow.
