One of the causes of the difficulties freelancers — social media managers — face is the lack of knowledge of how to land a client, most especially those just starting — no matter the niche or skill or handicraft.

However, what does is really mean to "land a client"?

To “land a client ”as a freelance social media manager means successfully acquiring a new client who hires you to manage their social media accounts and execute social media strategies on their behalf. It involves convincing a potential client to hire your services, signing a contract or agreement, and beginning a professional working relationship with them.

When you land a client as a freelance social media manager, it typically entails the following steps:

1. Identifying potential clients:

Research and identify businesses or individuals who may require social media management services. This could involve targeting specific industries or niches that align with your expertise.

2. Outreach and communication:

Reach out to potential clients through various channels such as email, social media, or networking events. This involves introducing yourself, explaining your services, and showcasing how you can help them achieve their social media goals.

3. Demonstrating value:
