What a mess!!! This is the first idea that crossed my mind when I saw the settings part for the first time! It reminded me of a complicated washing machine with so much information that make the product unusable. Think about the iPhone, you don’t need any instructions to start using the product, right? It should be the same for your product, especially for the settings part. You shouldn’t have to think about it.
Settings should be understandable at a glance and shouldn’t to be reviewed. In interaction design we might traditionally have referred to this idea as “usability” …
