Have you seen the new Spotify campaign in London?

The other day, I was coming back home from work when I had to change for the Bakerloo Line. So I stopped myself at the Oxford Circus station and I walked along corridors.

When I arrived on the platform, big surprise, Spotify’s billboards everywhere. In the whole station! The Spotify’s first-ever brand campaign was launched.

14 different billboards with different catch-phrases using a humorist and sometimes sarcastic tone, featuring examples of genuine playlists named ‘Worst Playlist Ever’, ‘Sorry I lost your cat’ or ‘I don’t know how to make a playlist’.

Each execution comes with a line such as ‘Thousands of playlists created every day. Some, admittedly, better than others.’ or ‘Actually an actual playlist by an actual user’.

Basically, this campaign showcases Spotify doing what it does best — helping listeners to tell their stories through music by exposing the breadth of playlists that soundtrack so many moments in their lives, from the weird to the wonderful.

You will be able to see it in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Bristol, mainly on billboards, buses and the London underground, until the 4th of December.

I guess I won’t be the only one to walk all along the platform just to discover all of them, so I took a picture for each of them, therefore you don’t have to look like a tourist! I let you have a look then.
