The problem isn’t that so many people can be “heard” (by posting whatever flows out of their fingertips) but that so many people have lost the ability (if they ever had it) of critically thinking about what they are reading, and researching what they are reading to figure out if there is a shred of truth to it, and then figuring out how any shreds fit together with other shreds.

There are so many people in the world who crave but do not have internet access either because it doesn’t exist or they cannot afford it or a device to interface with it. What a shame that so many of those who do have it take it for granted and waste the opportunity for learning and growth. Sad.
