Just to add on, it also depends on how much trust you put into the company or person that you’re giving your age or other personal information to. If they have a good reputation with others and not do things that could break your trust, then it’s your decision on opening up to them or not. Even in real life giving private or personal information is a risk, but if you’ve built a good trust with that person or group, then you can be more truthful with them.
