Why im running every day.

So this October I have been taking on the @Ronhill_uk #RunEveryDay challenge. This is a simple challenge of running every day throughout October. No set distance, just run. You may even win a prize… (I havent)
Why: Its a personal challenge. Why not. The most consectutive days prior to this, I have ran is probably 3 or 4. I love a challenge, and feel it’s the right time to give it a go since finishing the Cotswold Classic Triathlon.
Motivation: Looking at my Strava and Garmin data to see those little blue bars across my weekly amounts. A kind of OCD to see one blank… I have also done this strange thing of taking photos of my feet in a different location every run. (Above and below)

Distance: I have been challenging myself to run a minimum of 5K. Theres been a few days when i’ve had to drop this distance due to other commitments and stiff legs. — but still did some distance.
What if:
What if my legs are stiff? Run a shorter distance.
What if i have no time? Make time.
What if its raining or cold? Layer up.
What if …

Where: I have been running everywhere. After the first 7 days you aim to seek out new destinations, new hills, new paths and new roads. There is nothing worse, and nothing worthy of running the same route every day.

Kit: Couple pairs of shorts, t-shirts, socks and your running trainers. Just get out there and try it.
