Our first week in Philadelphia was great. I took Bell on runs in the morning, brought him to work with me every day, and then went to the dog park at night. It was so exciting to finally have a warm dog sleeping on my bed with me. I had been dreaming about this for years!
After months of running together, Bell and I were a well-oiled running team machine. I loved how he inspired me to get my butt out of bed in the early morning and run. It made my workday so much brighter and let me really relax and play with him when I got home at the end of the day.
Life goal: Have an amazing, relaxed dog who can have at work with me. Achieved!

With the sun not up yet, Bell and I roll slowly out of bed, eye boogers still wet in the corners of our eyes trying to pull us back to sleep. I get dressed in my three layers and lace up my sneakers. It’s going to be cold, but if I think about that, I’ll just get back into bed.
