What if Nigeria is not an oil economy?

Had a technical meeting with an Indian firm last week in Abuja and their first concern was whether Nigeria is like Greece and won’t be able to deal with this oil bust cycle… I argued in lay man terms, but your conclusion is my take away from this piece, and it gives a lot of hope and comfort, of course provided we all do the needful for the present and future:

“The resilience to deal with oil shocks, it goes without saying, is significantly higher for Nigeria than for an oil economy.”
