One thing I can’t get my head around - why is Fincher not making his stuff on Amazon or Netflix? Do we really live in a world where Baz Luhrman’s crackpot idea gets a 120mil budget but David “almost everything I touch is awesome” Fincher can’t get 80% of that to remake one of the best international TV series?
