SGN Update #2: The Scottish Geek Network Talent Database

We’ve had lots of interest in the Scottish Geek Network so far – a variety of levels of experience and fame, different skills, and a diversity of people in terms of age and gender. In other words, it’s all looking very exciting right now!

One thing which has emerged is a division between those people who are going to produce/organise and those who just want to offer their services to the shows on the network.

I thought the easiest way to manage this would be to create a talent database of individuals interested in being crew/writers/presenters/dungeon masters/editors which SGN producers can search to find the right people for their shows. Fraser agreed, so we’ve set it up and you can sign up to be part of that database here: https://docs.google.com/open?id=13p6W7Zy_7lvW8gy3aNeQaXa-t6lV9jJxCxUj3UXNM-E

Meanwhile, if you wish to produce your own show, get involved in the organisation of the SGN as a whole, or have admin for an existing show that you’d be interested in incorporating into the SGN, you can get in touch with Fraser via contact@scottishgeeknetwork to discuss anything you wish.

At the moment I think our first priority is to create an organisational structure that means producers will feel comfortable sharing their content through the SGN.
