Bulut

As I promised in the class, here is some info about one of my best friends, Bulut. When someone asks about him, the first thing that comes into my mind is that “He is great”. Although many think that dogs are not as smart as us, they are more talented in many ways. We have very little information about them and we barely understand what they think, but apparently they are very talented in understanding human beings. An example to this would be : They sense it right away when you feel down, and they come near you and look at right into your eyes; like trying to say “I’m with you”.

Here is one of the pictures of Bulut, when he was 3 months old. I should say that those times were really hard for us as he knew almost nothing. Our home was not more than a toilet for him. ☺ During this time, we were told that we should be covering everywhere with paper so that Bulut will understand that he should do his job on a paper. However, this method’s resulted that whenever he needs to do something when he has to, he searches something that is on the ground which is carpet most of the time. It was very hard to correct this behavior.

Bulut and Tarcin

This picture was taken when we found another female golden retriever while we were coming home during midnight. She was being pulled by a couple of children. We had her as our guest for a week, and Bulut was really happy as you can see in the picture. Although Bulut didn’t want to, we found her owners and had to give her after a week.

Here is current picture of him. He is now 3 years old which corresponds to 24 years in human years. As he started to get older, his eyes are not as healthy as they were, so he started using glasses.
