Top 100 Ghanaian Startups Leading Entrepreneurial Drive
These brands are world class and can revive any competition in the world.
The Entrepreneurial spirit and business startup is something that has been somewhat embedded into the Ghanaian from DAY1. From our fathers toiling on farmlands to grow crops and produce, our mothers engaging in petty trading in marketplaces and shops etc.
I must say tho our generation and the ones to come are quite fortunate as the startup community in Ghana is rapidly growing, unlike the days (our parents/Grandparents time) where one is expected to go to school, get good grades, finish with a 1st class (I got a 2nd BTW the upper type) LOL and get a good job, work up your a** up the ladder and retire with a take home pay(pension) that sometimes cannot even take you home. Not that there is anything wrong with that route just that personally i prefer the startup and entrepreneurial drive.
Cookie (Empire fame) once said “the streets aint made for everybody thats why they made sidewalks”.
Nowadays young graduates and budding Entrepreneurs with fresh ideas are starting businesses and not just the one man style kind of business but the kind of businesses that are employing a few hundreds of people, contributing to the growth of the Ghanaian economy and better still offering products and services that can compete globally anywhere in the world.
From making fancy and world-class shoes to eCommerce, farming services, fashion etc and most of these businesses are powered by the growing technology space in Ghana.
