Eh, you might want to look up the word “pedophilia” in a dictionary. But here, let me help you:

Pedophilia is not a legal term. In fact, the term pedophilia doesn’t even describe an act, but rather a condition of being sexually attracted to prepubertal children. It’s a clinical/scientific term. The words you’re looking for are “child sexual abuse” or “child molestation” but these are not the same thing:

Moreover, in the context of the article at hand about child prostitution, we’re talking about teenage “children”, therefore the term pedophilia is even more out of place.

However, I understand your confusion, especially coming from the UK (as I assume based on your spelling of pedophilia with “ae”), because irresponsible media organizations (notably in the UK) have been conflating the terms pedophilia and child sexual abuse/molestation for way too long:

So please educate yourself before you continue perpetuating the stigma of all pedophiles by conflating all of them with child sexual abusers.
