Toyota Tacoma is a type of pickup truck made in the United States of America by the Japanese since the year 1995. The first generation of Toyota Tacoma continued from 1995 to the year 2004 and was known as a compact pickup.

The second generation of the Toyota Tacoma was known as the midsize. Same as its competitor the Hilux, the Toyota Tacoma is reliable, rugged and capable for a good drive.

There are two bed lengths, three cab styles and power train options. These features and options gives plenty of choices and different combinations for people to chose what option suits to their needs.

The bed length was also altered, as Toyota added a long bed replacing the short bed length. Two new variants of Toyota Tacoma were also introduced namely TRD sport and TRD pro. These could be availed with the Bilstein shocks and the struts along with a high output alternator.

The second generation of the Toyota Tacoma featured the motor trend which got the Toyota Tacoma the award for the 2005 truck of the year award due to its ruggedness. This truck was reasonably sized, had an efficient fuel truck which proved to be very beneficial at the time of high petrol prices.

The third generation of the Toyota Tacoma in 2016 displayed some more additional features and changes as well. The features were enhanced such as the six speed automatic along with the four cylinders, and the V6 powered models. The latest and the third edition of the Toyota Tacoma was much improved and better than its previous ones in all aspects.
