Let’s Start With Ancient Times

Fashion’s roots can be traced back to ancient civilizations, where clothing was not merely a means of covering the body but also a symbol of status, power, and identity. In ancient Egypt, for instance, the pharaohs and nobility adorned themselves in elaborate garments made of linen, while the commoners wore simpler attire. Similarly, ancient Greece’s fashion showcased draped garments, and the Romans were known for their togas and tunics, which communicated their social standing.
