It would be great to visualize the retail disruption in different industries by business models (subscription, marketplace, no-inventory model etc) and by customer experience excellence (speed, standardization, quality, service etc).
Tough to win if a startup is not creating big change in both.
Yemeksepeti is a better example of investing in regions where funding isn’t as available. This in return depresses the valuations and once funding comes in a big risk level is mitigated. The first movers into emerging regions made great returns — more examples in India and APAC.
