How to Train a ChatBot with the TensorFlow and Google Cloud ML
Viacheslav Kovalevskyi

Hi there Viacheslav,

Very interesting post indeed. More interesting the fact it was written around xmas time :).

I have been trying to run the script locally on Google Cloud Shell but it keeps on failing (I figured out that it is down to the tensorflow version — 0.11.0). It works perfectly fine on my local laptop.

However, I have been trying to make it work on the cloud but I get the following error message.

“Traceback (most recent call last): File “/usr/lib/python2.7/”, line 162, in _run_module_as_main “__main__”, fname, loader, pkg_name) File “/usr/lib/python2.7/”, line 72, in _run_code exec code in run_globals File “/root/.local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/translate/”, line 297, in <module> File “/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/tensorflow/python/platform/”, line 43, in run sys.exit(main(sys.argv[:1] + flags_passthrough)) File “/root/.local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/translate/”, line 294, in main train() File “/root/.local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/translate/”, line 148, in train FLAGS.data_dir, FLAGS.en_vocab_size, FLAGS.fr_vocab_size) File “/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/tensorflow/models/rnn/translate/”, line 267, in prepare_wmt_data train_path = get_wmt_enfr_train_set(data_dir) File “/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/tensorflow/models/rnn/translate/”, line 80, in get_wmt_enfr_train_set _WMT_ENFR_TRAIN_URL) File “/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/tensorflow/models/rnn/translate/”, line 56, in maybe_download os.mkdir(directory) OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: ‘gs://ecs_chatbot_generic/chatbot_generic_20170113_164457’ “

Is there anything you can help me with? Thank you in advance.

Thank you in advance.
