Vietnam is a country, where you can find a lot of ports that is worth a visit. One of which can be found in the Vung Tau province — in the southern peninsula of the country. This town was once a French colonial place, but is now a popular tourist destination because of its seaside coastlines and ports. Beaches are not the only eye-catching spots here because you would surely love climbing, trekking, trailing and hiking the mountains. I supposed, this is one of the best destinations that nature lovers would love to check.

Anyway, if you are in the Ho Chi Minh City, then you will find it easy to reach Vung Tau. This tourist destination is very much accessible by bus. So, if you would like to keep yourself off from the city, then you would surely find this town a perfect escape.

So, what do you expect to do in Vung Tau? Since there are beaches here, then you would absolutely want to swim and play water sports, right? Who would not want to enjoy the beauty of the beaches around? I doubt it, if you would like to leave once you step on this town. If you do not have an idea about what you must do here, then we have here a few things for you to do.

Having fun at the beach

Well, you have a lot to choose from when it comes to the beaches in Vung Tau. We have the Front Beach, Back Beach, Paride Beach and Pineapple Beach to name a few.

The Front Beach is actually the most popular beach spot in town. This is where you most find the crowd, especially those who would like to rest and escape from a busy city lifestyle. It is also where you would enjoy a real fresh and most delicious seafood delicacies because you will find restaurants along the beach.

If you enjoy surfing as well as kitesurfing, then you may have to go to the Back Beach. Here, the wind swells and it is indeed ideal for such activities. If you do not have your own equipment, then you may want to rent from shops around.

Now, if you are looking for a calmer water, then go to the Pineapple Beach, the sunset here is actually great, so you will enjoy the view. The Paradise Beach is also great, but it is more luxurious because of high-end services.

Rio Experience

Have you been to Rio? If not, then take the 105-foot-tall statue of Jesus Christ as your Rio de Janeiro experience. It is situated on top of the Nui Nho Mountain. If you are here, then you can have a great view of the city. Reaching the statue will actually take you 847 steps. Can you walk manage it? If yes, then challenge your family and friends to climb up.

Hiking the Lighthouse

You can find a lighthouse opposite the Mui Nho Mountain. It is indeed the oldest lighthouse you can find in Vietnam. It was built in 1862 during the French colonization. You will surely find this spot perfect for your photography as well as shots to post for your social media accounts.

Exploring the Park

There is this Ho May Culture & Ecotourism Park that you might want to explore in Vung Tau. This is another good spot that nature lovers would enjoy. It is actually on top of the hill and then, if you would like to come here, you will find it adventurous and exciting to use a cable car.

In my opinion, coming to this park would be more fun when you are traveling with your kids. You may be paying a certain fee here, but all the rides are already included. Anyway, it is not only kids, who enjoy bump cars, go karts, roller coasters, water games, paintball and archery. This also a way for you to bring out the child in you. I guess, you had been hiding your childish character, anyway.

Coming to this park is actually the best way to relax and have fun. Why don’t you bring out all the excitement here because the rides are all great? After this experience, you will feel like you were relieved from stress.
