Anderson .Paak releases new single ‘JEWELZ’ that has been taunting us since the summer

The day has come ‘JEWELZ’ is here. This past summer Anderson .Paak posted a short video on his Instagram with him and his son dancing in their living room. A snippet of the song played in the background of the video, which was a sneak peek at the track soon to be known as ‘JEWELZ’. The clip accumulated over a million views with fans begging for the full song. On Tuesday, October 6 fans got what they have been asking for with the release of the incredible track with production from Timbaland, Shucati, and the BREED.
One lyric stands out in my mind “I ain’t even put my Jewelz on, I ain’t even played my latest greatest song”
Perhaps this song, in particular, has excited and resonated with so many of his fans, myself included, because of the distinct groove that Anderson .Paak always seems to bring and what the lyrics have alluded. His lyrics speak to his undoubtedly powerful future projects. Both the music industry and listeners across the world can attest that more groundbreaking projects are to come from the powerhouse that is Anderson .Paak and the accolades to follow. The wonderful collaborations that we have seen since the beginning of his career including his work with NxWorries and The Free Nationals have left listeners yearning for more and Anderson .Paak has definitely delivered. His most recent collaborations with Timbaland are making for a powerful duo with ‘YUUUU’ released just a few weeks ago and now ‘JEWELZ’.
