When background of potential employees are being investigated, it is a part of what we call the pre-employment screening solutions. What is does is to try and verify if the applicant’s claims are true to his word. This is also the portion where a company is able to find out if the person they are hiring has had some criminal records in the past. It also includes knowing their compensation claims in the past and if there be any, employer sanctions.

First and foremost the most basic tool that an applicant voluntary submits to a company should he or she be in interested in their open position is their resume.

As per data coming from A Matter of Fact, the infographic below provides an accurate data about the percentage of applicants that have serious issues.

Resumes are the first tool that a human resource can screen. Then, it will be followed by further screening if the candidate qualifies to go to the next process of hiring. If found with discrepancy, a company will of course know that drill right away and act according to how their process runs in the company, with regards to hiring people for the jobs.

This is one way to ensure that you are not just hiring great workers but also, workers with principle. Pleasing is an employee who values virtue and hard work.
