Gotham Tv Show (2014–2019) Review

The Tv show Gotham is yet another rendition of Batman's upbringing. The show starts with the very iconic scene of the Wayne’s being mugged in an alleyway. This introduces us to the main characters of the series; Jim Gordan, Bruce Wayne, Harvey Bullock, Cat and Alfred Pennyworth.

The show features most of the batman villains such as Penguin, Scarecrow, The Riddler and even Ra’s Al Ghul. The show introduces us to Bruce Wayne (portrayed by David Mazouz) when he was filled with fear and a lack of fighting skills and techniques. Bruce Wayne is shown as a boy filled with a lot of anger and resentment towards the people who killed his parents.

The show Gotham is an exciting and riveting show displaying the brutal training that Batman clawed through to be become the justice seeker we all know and love. The story line is solid with hardly any flaws. I have not watched a single episode that I have wanted to skip. Throughout the show Bruce Wayne begins to remind us that he is just a child by flaunting his wealth around showing a lack of financial immaturity.

The overall graphics of the show is very good, however it can get quite hazy in places which can be quite distracting however I would still rate it a 7/10 for graphics.

I would overall recommend this show to anybody that is in love with the whole batman franchise or even the DCEU. However I do believe that this show relies heavily on plot armour as the main characters usually survive dodging a rain of bullets or even being resurrected. I would overall rate this show a 8/10.
