Sarah Nadav, most VC’s look at the bigger picture. They avoid the risk. If you get pregnant, how can you run your company after birth? (I.E. recovery, breastfeeding, ect..). Startup’s don’t have a “pause” button they have a “fail” button. New businesses require 12+ hour work days. If I’m funding a new business, I expect you around the clock working on this until it’s successfully launched and generating revenue.
