When it comes to getting the girl, Tony Montana has some pretty solid advice. When Tony and his bestfriend Manolo came to America, they were stepping into a culture much different from whence they came.
Back in their country, Tony’s friend Manolo was used to sweeping girls off their feet with only his good looks and smooth talk. One afternoon, Manolo approached a beautiful American woman sunbathing on a Miami beach. He tried his looks and suave swagger, along with a sexual gesture with his tongue, and that earned him a quick slap across the face, courtesy of that beach bathing beauty.
Tony immediately advised Manolo with these words, “in this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the woman” . Manolo quickly learned that sometimes, it takes a little more than looks and a line to earn the affection of a beautiful woman.
