In this blog, we will tell you about the DriveMining & EnviDa collaboration. EnviDa is a DriveMining project. DriveMining, which is mounted on electric- or hybrid-electric vehicles, mines cryptocurrencies as long as the vehicle’s engine is running. In this way, vehicle owners can earn passive income without creating an extra workload.
The EnviDa project, on the other hand, comes to life with the ability to attach multiple sensors that can be connected to the DriveMining boxes. This sensor collects environmental data such as the CO2 level along the route of the vehicle and transfers it to the EnviDa Blockchain. The data will be stored in an unmanipulated and transparent manner and can be purchased by environmental projects, in exchange for EnviDa Tokens. Thus, in a project, up-to-date and instant environmental data will be provided from all over the world for environmental projects, and those who collect this data will be able to earn additional income.
What has been done?
First, the idea for DriveMining emerged in 2017. Currently, DriveMining boxes installed on 20 vehicles in Berlin continue their test drives. However, competent engineers continue the R&D of the device.
In September of 2021, EnviDa Token’s seed-round took place. A total of 1 million EDATs were offered for sale, with 1 EDAT costing 0.25 €. Of these, 780,000 were sold and 220,000 burned.
In the private sale in December of 2021, 3 million EDAT was put up for sale. In this round, 1 EDAT was sold for € 0.50 and the private sale was successfully completed.
On the first day of 2022, the pre-sale of EnviDa Token started. Dashboard went public. 1 EDAT went on sale for €0.75 and a total of 2 million EDATs are expected to be sold in this round.
With the investments collected during the ICO, the assembly area of the DriveMining boxes was rented. In the first stage, the materials that can produce 50 DriveMining boxes were ordered and these materials were received.
