Envion is exciting to announce that it has signed an engagement letter with one of the four largest consulting firms globally on 14 November.
Enlisting one of the Big Four auditing firms to audit envion’s business operations was done in the interest of transparency with envion’s investors during the ICO process and also to protect the integrity of future endeavors.
This firm will supervise our ICO and manage relations with financial regulators including the release of a prospectus that will allow our security token to be traded on even more markets. They will also be asked to create reports on a regular basis which confirm that envion is operating in accordance with their public statements and contractual agreements. These reports will be published directly when possible or indirectly via a trusted 3rd party as we are doing with this announcement.
One would think that the ICO community would embrace a company working hard to play by the rules and that’s certainly what we expected when we announced that we would be issuing a security token for our ICO. Our team has a history in the energy industry where intense regulation is normal and so we are embracing a future where ICOs and tokens are regulated by financial authorities.
But not everyone feels the same way about the word regulators so we want to do our best to make our community feel comfortable by using the same playbook as global enterprises and having the same support from an auditing team with global expertise.
Due to contractual obligations, we cannot reveal the name of our auditor. However, we wanted to confirm the veracity of our claim for our potential investors and submit to you a notarized confirmation that we have an agreement with a Big Four auditor:
Those familiar with the process of engaging such an auditor know that the process requires significant vetting on the part of the auditor and a commitment from envion to operate honestly and fulfill our obligations to our investors and customers.
