Hot sparks and hard steel are a spectacular reminder that envion’s business is the making of a living, breathing piece of hardware built by skilled craftsmen as much as it is the technical challenge of crypto mining. Envion’s first production line is ready for mass-production after weeks of testing and process refinement — and the results are as impressive as the concept.
Envion is one of very few ICOs that started out with a functioning product already built before raising money from investors.
ICO funds will create hundreds of MMUs from this factory alone which will produce 160 MMUs as the production line is scaled up in the next 3 months. After that production will increase starting from 160 produced each month. Over 300 workers will be hired at the EU factory just to construct envion’s containers, install mining hardware and electronics, and maintain on-site mining operations.
The envion team visited the factory to see the first MMU built from scratch and was treated to an impressive display of technical capability. In the process of turning raw steel into containers for cryptocurrency mining, numerous advancements were made that will improve the profitability and durability of every single MMU.
Design improvements:
- Redesigned modular racks with metal grating for increased heat sinking and airflow
- Roof shape enhancement to repel rain and extend container lifespan
- Reduction of 1000 kilos from total weight — reducing cost, environmental impact, and transport costs
- Air intake seal improvements for tighter seal and better airflow dynamics
- Anti-condensation custom fan mounts
- Recessed external cavities for weather-resistant cabling and power connections
The choice to build MMUs at an EU-based factory was clear once we secured a competitive price that included not just custom design and production, but also power to host hardware before installation, facilities to host finished MMUs, and increased protection for envion’s intellectual property.
A finished MMU will be able to reach as far as Mongolia in 3.5 days and envion’s first customers in Sweden, Norway, and Austria will wait just a fraction of that time to receive MMUs and start mining.
ASICs and GPUs will begin mining the moment they are delivered to the factory in a dust-free hall with ample and inexpensive power. These large shipments will be installed directly onto the modular, custom-made racks where they will mine until ready to be installed into the MMU shell. The factory can also host up to 70 finished MMUs on-site which can mine profitably until they are deployed at final destinations. Every piece of hardware will be profitably mining from delivery to deployment to maximize profits for token holders.
Customers are already waiting for delivery of envion PO MMUs — where token holders earn 100% of profits — and a new order for 400 TPO units has just come in for units built after that.
Additional factories will be established in the Americas to reduce transport time for customers across the Atlantic and further envion’s reach around the globe. Each container will have a custom number so you can see if your local power plant is one of the first to receive an envion MMU.
