Week 2 Summary & Week 3 Schedule — Constitution Referendum Series

EOS Alliance

Two community video conference calls were hosted this week, recordings and slides:

#1: English / Chinese | Presentation Slides

#2: English / Korean | Presentation Slides

Calls hosted a maximum of 48 people due to the number of available trained facilitators. Discussion revolved around the following primary questions, answered by breakout groups of six individuals:

- What is the most important thing a Constitution must do for EOS Mainnet? And why?

- What are you most worried about regarding the Constitution of EOS Mainnet? Why — what do you fear might happen?

Small groups came back together after 30 minutes of discussion to share their answers, many of which were summarized by community members.

Thank you everyone who shared summaries and updates — helping everyone stay informed is crucial, as we work together to empower EOS for all.

Community-Led Calls

Later in the week, community members already began to host their own discussions and share them with the wider community:

EOS Alliance is excited to see community members offer their own calls — everyone should have a voice in EOS, and the Alliance exists to help anyone lead or take part in discussions. The following resources are available to community call leaders:

Register for advanced facilitator training - Friday August 31 at 1300 UTC (training will be recorded and further sessions offered at a later date).

Send your content for sharing on EOS Alliance website and news releases.

Week 3 — Design Principles & Core Beliefs

Goal: Working groups of 5–7 members will break down individual constitution articles into their design principle level. Understanding the core beliefs for each article will allow for better decisions on what to include or discard.

Anyone is welcome to publish summaries, videos, or other information to be shared on EOS Alliance channels. Please send each link to be shared through this form.

Video calls will be limited to the first 48 participants. English speakers are encouraged to attend call #2 if they are able, with the other two as backup options.
